Lizzie and Trudi are now collaborating to offer you Music Taster Days.
These days are a chance for you try out playing the flute, piano, keyboard, singing and percussion instruments.
The packed programme offers you a chance to learn about reading music and enjoy making music with others.
It is an ideal opportunity to find out whether you want to take up music lessons.
We plan these days to be good fun and full of stimulating activity.
There are 12 places on each day and there will be an appointment system for anyone wanting an individual consultation.

PART 1
Note Names, Values and Simple Time signatures
This workshop aims to ground you in the basics of music theory.
|
If you are frustrated by knowing bits and pieces of music theory by never enough to make real sense of it, why not commit yourself to fill in those gaps? Our workshop days give you that chance.
You will be working in friendly and supportive group environment to learn alongside others in small groups. You will experience a range of learning activities and each section will be reinforced with practical music making sessions. We aim to make your learning fun.
These days will introduce you to the fundamentals of music theory and to support you to learn to how to embody them in your musical world.

Key signatures, Scales and Compound Time signatures
This workshop builds on Part 1 or your previous knowledge

These day workshops can be arranged on demand for small groups.
We cater for lunch and snacks, tailored to suit your needs.
