MIDSUMMER FESTIVAL 2019 DAYTIME PROGRAMME 

10.00 Church opens Cafe opens

10.30 church: Dolce Flauto group: A concert of recorder music ccafe Zenith Harmony: “At Zenith Harmony we love being part of that great tradition and singing songs of different styles and eras.”

11.00 Adam Hibberd’s Serenade: Popular and original piano music and 11.30 Guided tours of the church available. Cafe: Cor Cymraeg: a small Welsh choir

12.00: church  ANGELUS SOUNDS then  12.10 Woodwind choirs: Coventry Flute Choir, Coventry Clarinet Choir and Coventry Saxophone Ensemble

1.30 church Favaio Baroque Ensemble performing vocal and instrumental music by Bach, Handel and Telemann. 2.45 Coventry Chant Collective: “We love Plainchant (Gregorian and other forms) and try to raise the profile of this beautiful but all too rarely heard form of music.”

3.15 church: Guided tours of the church available  cafe: George Allen: singer songwriter with his songs and arrangements of others, including Beatles.

4.15 Worldsong: a choir with a difference: stunning harmonies, uplifting songs, inspiring rhythms, music for the soul. We sing harmony songs from the world music repertoire, specialising in traditional songs from Eastern Europe, Africa, Britain, America and beyond.

 5.00 - 6.30 CHURCH AND CAFE CLOSED 6.30 Doors open for evening concert at 7.00.
