This autumn started with a series of fun opportunities for pupils:

9th Sept at Coventry Cathedral www.coventrycathedral.org.uk/wpsite/blog/2016/08/16/september-9th-1000-years-of-coventry-heritage/

Patsy and Lizzie are supported this event by leading the Kyrie and singing Coventry Carol accapella

10th Sept at St. John the Baptist Church

Mary Dunn, Chris Linney and Austin Wootton performed a short concert at 3.00 at part of the church's Heritage Day.

In her first concert with us, Mary sang "Che Faro", "China Doll" and "Someone Like Me"

Flying in from an awards ceremnoy and conference in Sweden, Chris sang "Where'ere You Walk". "If Music Be the Food of Love", "The Cloths of Heaven" and "Empty Chairs and Empty Tables"

Austin performed "An Affair to Remember", "You Belong to Me" and then took the roof off with "Buddy Can You Spare a Dime?"

The singers were joined by Chris Old performing the fabolous Albert monologues and Darrell Springer with two improvised contrasting dance pieces: "Ruby's Tune" by Lizzie Perring and "P05".

The concert was very well recieved and it was lovely to be back in the great acoustic at St. John's which is so very wonderful for voices.
