 Jim is a musician who plays drums and percussion along with a long time interest in Music Technology. He has performed in many bands since 70s playing several styles including Rock, Blues and Reggae. He plays in a local party band Inferno who are great for weddings and functions. www.inferno.uk.com. He writes dance tunes under the names 'Billy Bongo' and 'Vinyl Confuzion'. He has also taught music to many young people in the last 15 years, many with Special Needs. He met Lizzie in 1994 at The Bridge Project in Rugby where Lizzie was co-ordinator.

Drum lessons:
Lessons are 30 minutes duration. Longer lessons can be accomodated. Lessons are charged at £20 per hour.
Time of lessons are negoitiable.
Tuition on accoustic or electronic kit.
All ages welcome - come and learn in a relaxed environment.
My own personal philosophy is that music should be primarily life enrichning and fun.
I teach using Rockschool grades as a basis for tuition -but there is no pressure to take the grades unless you want to.
Young or old - drumming is fun.

Buying a drum kit
Things to consider before buying a drumkit.
Space: Have you got space for a drumkit?
Will noise be a problem? Electronic kits are great for practice and noise control as heaphones can be used.
I can advise with the purchase and set up of accoustic or electronic kits. I will find the kit for you if required.
