Unlock the Music is getting a reputation for providing unique evenings
of very high quality amatuer entertainment in local communities. In any
of our concerts you will see music making from Rennaisance times to
contemporary pop music and songs from the shows. Singers study classical technique and this enables them to sing a wide range of music. You will also hear
standards and "oldies" alongside some orginal music. This is music
making for pleasure with no sense of competition about it. Each person
is expected to perform to their highest abilitity at the time. The
performers form a musical community for the events and support and
value one another's performances. Family members are involved and their
are some families with two or even three people involved in the
performances and the planning processes
