ABOUT UNLOCK THE MUSIC

Unlock the Music has a varied and exciting rolling programme of performance opportunities for local music learners. We are always seeking out new opportunities and like to connect to other music groups. We encourage people to get in touch if they want some singers for an event. To get an idea of the exciting range of performances we have so far created why not check out the

Pupil quotes:

"An hour of singing is worth eight hours of talking"

"When I come to my lesson I enter a happy, joyful, enriching place."

"I walked away from here last week on cloud nine."

"These lessons are the highlight of my week"

Farncombe Estate Centre

Farncombe Estate  runs all sort of courses, including a range of singing courses. Lizzie will be tutoring the sight singing course this August.

Lizzie Perring is an established private music teacher with  thriving business based in Coventry. Her singing and piano pupils come from all over the West Midlands and Warwickshire. Lizzie is a singer song writer, and has performed as a soloist and with bands. She has also written for the theatre. She is always oversubscribed. Lizzie teaches people of all ages and ability, including elderly people and some very young ones. Music is a wonderful form of communication, so for some pupils, Lizzie finds that just being able to sing well is enough. She believes in an empowering style of teaching and adapts her methods to match her pupils learning needs. She encourages those who can to go on and raise their game to perform. Lizzie has been running her music teaching business  for over 3 years now, following a long successful career in special educational needs for Warwickshire County Council. She returned to her first love of music and has enjoyed finding out just how many people aspire to become musicians locally.

She also takes advanced singing pupils and specialises in helping them to develop professionally and promote themselves. Unlock the Music’s website has been developed during this time to showcase Lizzie and her pupils’ work, as well as advertise her services. ns monthly singers’ master classes which are open to guests.

She also has a  portfolio of workshops.
