On 4th April 2009 pupils and friends of Trudi Garth and Lizzie Perring presented
a summer concert, part of series of concerts in the area entitled
"Songs of Life and Love"............
One of our top singers, Jennian King with her classical repertoire and then she and Lizzie with
the charming Purcell duet
"Sound the Trumpet" from "Come ye Sons of Art"...both will be happy to
sing this at any event at any time for the rest of their lives, because
we just love it!!
Pink Panther has become our mascot at these
concerts and always turns up when we play
that tune.....
Trudi Garth gave us a mesmorizing "Syrinx"
Then there were the Beanfield Babes in two Bach arias:
Buddug Pritchard, Trudi Garth , Jane Farrington and Lizzie
Maddy Kerr from Heartbreak Productions hosted the evening with poetry reading
In her stunning performances of Joni Mitchell's "Blue", followed by "I'll Be There"
there is a quiet moment while Danielle is waiting for inspiration
Another thoughtful moment for Jenny......
Darrell gave us "Wonderful World"
Popular singer Austin Wootton with his unique repertoire of older songs..
It is a real treasure to have these
beautiful flautists participating
in
these concerts...Here Allana checks
her tuning with teacher
Trudi..
plainly a serious matter!
Dancer Victoria Lowe

accompanied by her
mother Celia...
