MARGARET GALLANT WITH HER TEACHER AUDREY YATES AND ACCOMPANIST ANNETTE JUDE
|

My mother, Audrey Yates, is a popular singing teacher with a long track record of successful pupils and she is based in Norfolk.
She also runs the prestigious Norfolk ladies choir, "Wings of Song". There a few vacancies for lower voices in the choir at the moment.
If you live in Norfolk and are interested in singing lessons you can contact Audrey Yates on 01603 742718. She has a few vacancies at the moment.

My mother's pupil Margaret Gallant was doubly honoured by Norwich Music Festival this year. She and other of my mother's pupils were awarded "Outstanding" by the judges. As a consequence. Margaret was asked to perform at the end of festival concert and was then awarded the festival plate. This was great achievement for a lady in her seventies who has been singing for many years but never in centre stage like this. Her voice remains pure and controlled and this is a credit to my mother's teaching. Accompanying her with the fiendish piano part, on "Resulka's Song to the Moon" by Dvorak, Annette Jude masterfully conjured the atmosphere to support Margaret's amazing sustained high notes. It all goes to show that it is perfectly possible to sing well throughout your life and it is indeed very good for you to do so.
